BUSINESS ECONOMICS Adams County Economic Development (ACED) is the Board of Commissioners' community partner for primary job creation. Commissioner Nichol has been on both the ACED Board of Directors and the ACED Executive Committee all four years of her term, currently serving as Treasurer. Nichol has actively supported 8,953 new jobs and $1.83 billion in capital investment by employersreported by ACED during her term, including Federal Express, TruStile Doors, Furniture Row, General Motors and Rocky Mountain Natural Meats ACED's 2007 survey revealed an amazing 91% of the employers believe Adams County is truly business friendly! This is the highest rating ever recorded. Commissioner Nichol 'walks-the-talk' with her solid track record of leadership for a balanced partnership of business and government that benefits all residents. One of many examples was her outreach and warm welcome to Rocky Mountain Seed Company when it relocated from Denver to Adams County in 2007.
